VetSpec Healthy Dog provides all round nutritional support where outstanding condition and performance are a priority, especially for show dogs. Pre and Probiotics

VetSpec Healthy Dog contains a probiotic licenced by the EU to maintain good gut health in dogs. The gastro-intestinal tract of the dog naturally contains populations of ‘good’ lactic acid  producing bacteria, and ‘bad’ harmful bacteria like E Coli, and Salmonella. The probiotic works by increasing the numbers of lactic-acid-producing bacteria, and limiting the growth of the harmful ones.

VetSpec Healthy Dog also contains mannan oligosaccharides (MOS). This is a constituent of yeast cell walls. It bonds with pathogenic (bad) bacteria, removing them from the gut, leaving the beneficial bacteria free to multiply. The probiotic and MOS work in tandem to optimise the dog’s digestive tract and ensure that performance, feed conversion and welfare are maintained.

Composition: 

Yeast extract (as a source of mannan oligosaccharides (3.3%)), Cooked Maize, Sucrose, Sodium Chloride.
